High School Career
Haliburton played basketball at Oshkosh North High School in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. As a sophomore, he earned a spot on the All-Fox Valley Association (FVA) second team and the defensive team. In his junior year, he averaged 18 points, six assists, and five rebounds per game, winning the FVA Player of the Year award and Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) Division I All-State honors, despite his team falling short of a State Tournament berth.
